Reef Fish at Ras Mohamed

Reef fish are those colorful fish that you see in that Prussian-blue waters off of Ras Mohamed. There is a huge variety here that makes the array of colors almost inconceivable. The reason why these fish are so colored is because it is as much a survival method as it is a mate attracting ploy. At times of danger, there is a strong need to blend in with the wide range of color provided by the soft and hard coral species. Here are some of them:
